The GSCP Annual Conference is back for 2022!
This year the focus of the conference will be on effectively SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND DISABILITIES; How we keep our most vulnerable children safe.

We are working in partnership with colleagues in SEND, Quality Improvement and Health, to organise an interesting, thought-provoking and relevant day for leaders and practitioners working in Royal Greenwich.
Objective:
To improve the level of skills and knowledge of practitioners, to enable them to recognise and respond to needs, effectively safeguard and promote the welfare of children with additional needs.
Aims:
To bring together colleagues from across the partnership to look at:
- Safeguarding children with additional needs in school
- Early Years interventions/Therapies
- Speech and communication and complex communication difficulties and the impact of this in relation to the risk of exploitation
- Speech and language therapy for younger children
- Mental capacity
- Behaviour management
