The NSPCC schools service has free resources that they are offering to schools across London to support with the safeguarding and wellbeing of their pupils. More information can be found below:
• Speak Out Stay Safe
Speak Out Stay Safe is a free of charge offer, available for children aged 5 to 11 and includes access to interactive video assemblies for both KS1 and KS2.
The programme aims to help children:
• Speak Out Stay Safe SEND Programme
This is a specially adapted SEND version of Speak out. Stay Safe which is a safeguarding programme for children with additional needs and disabilities.
This is a free of charge service, with six-sessions which have been developed jointly by the NSPCC and Image in Action, a specialist organisation with over 30 years of experience working with pupils with learning disabilities.
The focus is for children to understand what abuse is and to feel supported and able to talk to trusted adults about any worries. It uses the concept of a safe circle to help pupils understand which trusted adults they can turn to.
The SEND programme materials are aimed at children aged 9 to 11 with moderate learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions and other additional learning needs, however they may be suitable for a wider group of ages and needs.

• DART
Domestic Abuse, Recovery Together (DART) service. The Domestic Abuse, Recovery Together (DART) service aims to help children and mothers talk to each other about domestic abuse and learn ways to communicate and rebuild their relationship. Women will learn more about how domestic abuse happens and how it affects children and explore experiences and strategies that can be used as a parent. Children can take part in activities together that can help them build their own understanding of domestic abuse and how they feel. • In Ctrl
The In Ctrl service supports children, parents, and carers with online safety.
In Ctrl works with children who may benefit from support around increasing resilience, supporting their emotional wellbeing, and raising awareness of risks and opportunities in the child’s online and offline world.

• NSPCC Workshops
The NSPCC are piloting a blended delivery model across several London boroughs, including face-to-face volunteer led workshops for pupils in years 5 and 6. The workshop builds on themes from the assemblies around online abuse / safety, and appropriate / inappropriate situations.
