Many of you have been involved in the development of the GSCP Business Plan 2023-26 and I am pleased to advise that we are now in the final stages of development and will be able to share the agreed plan with you all shortly. Your input into the consultation on the plan’s priorities has been incredibly helpful, this plan really is a partnership document and shows that we have shared goals and ambitions for the children and families in Greenwich.

Following the completion of the plan’s development, the chairs of our Work Groups alongside the GSCP Business Unit will work together to further develop work plans which sit beneath these priorities. I am very much looking forward to seeing the progress against this plan over the coming years and we will keep colleagues updated on this.

The Quality Assurance & Audit Work Group undertook a Child Sexual Abuse multi-agency audit in 2022 and the groups Deputy Chair, Dr Ann Lorek and the Integrated Care Service Designated Nurse, Anita Erhabor will be hosting a virtual lunchtime briefing to share the findings of the audit as well as the subsequently developed Greenwich CSA pathway on Tuesday 9th May at 12.30-1.30pm. Please click here for full joining details. I hope as many of you as possible can attend this important learning session.

The Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel published a briefing note for child protection professionals across England summarising the key learning points from the independent Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel’s national review into safeguarding children with disabilities and complex heath needs in residential settings. Please take the time to read the briefing here.
