Mosac Training: Working with Families Impacted by Child Sexual Abuse

Mosac support families who have been impacted by Child Sexual Abuse. Their training programmes are deeply rooted in the cases of their clients and their experiences of working with professionals following their children’s disclosure of Child Sexual Abuse.

The programmes support professionals working with children and families to better understand Child Sexual Abuse, understand the impact of Child Sexual Abuse on both the victim and their families and to support professionals to feel more confident and equipped to work with families following disclosure.

Mosac have the following upcoming sessions:

Free Lunchtime Talks – Held on Tuesdays from 24th May to 21st June from 1pm – 2pm. Participants are welcome to attend an individual session or the whole series:

  • 31st May: Impact of Child Sexual Abuse
  • 7th June: Understanding the grooming process
  • 14th June: Working in a trauma informed way with victims of Child Sexual Abuse
  • 21st June: How to work therapeutically with victims of Child Sexual Abuse

One Day Training: Working with Families impacted by Child Sexual Abuse – Child Sexual Abuse causes systemic and lasting trauma, it is challenging for all involved, including professionals working with families who have been impacted by Child Sexual Abuse. This one day training will support you to better understand Child Sexual Abuse and the impact on the whole family and equip you to work together with non-abusing parents and carers to support the child victims.

  • 13th June – 10am – 4pm – Mosac Offices, Brockley SE4
